WE ASK THAT YOU WILL HEAL OUR NATION AND HEAL THOSE WHO ARE SICK OR WHO ARE CARRYING THE CORONAVIRUS UNKNOWINGLY LORD.

WE PRAY THAT YOU WOULD CALM THE RAGING FIGHTERS IN OUR STATE AND ALONG THE WESTERN COAST, WE BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH THAT YOU WILL HEAR AND REDEEM OUR WORD.

KEEP WHAT I WANT TO LEADERS, EXTRA WISDOM.

AS THEY NAVIGATE THROUGH AN UNPRECEDENTED EMERGENCIES AND ECONOMY, UNCERTAINTY AS PRESIDENTIAL AND LOCAL ELECTIONS ARE COMING HER OF THE ELECTED LEADERS WHO HONOR YOU AND RESPECT YOUR WORLD.

ALTHOUGH THOSE WHO CARE FOR OTHERS WHO UPHOLD CHRIST THE NAME AND WHO DEMONSTRATE RIGHTEOUSNESS TO THE ELECTED INTO A POSITION OF POWER.

WE PRAY FOR LEADERS WHO ARE ACT ACCORDING TO YOUR WILL AND YOUR WILL ALONE LEADERS WHO ARE NOT SWAYED BY VOTE BY PRIDE OR BY THEIR OWN AGENDA.

BUT THOSE WHO LOOK TO YOU AND TO THE CROSS IN ALL OUR THINGS GRACIOUS FATHER THIS EVENING, OUR CIVIC LEADERS CONVENE TOGETHER.

CLEESE ORCHESTRATE THEIR TIME TOGETHER WITH YOUR PRESENCE AND GUIDANCE GRANT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF OUR COMMUNITY LEADERS, GOOD DISCERNMENT AND THE GIFT OVER GRACE TO ENCOURAGE AND LIFT ONE ANOTHER HOLY SPIRIT, MOVING IN THIS SPACE AND HEADPHONE WHAT A LEADER TRULY REPRESENT AND BE A VOICE FOR THOSE WHO ARE WEAK.

JESSICA RECENTLY COMPLETED THE TRAINING REQUIRED TO EARN HER MASTER'S MUNICIPAL CLERK DESIGNATION FROM THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MUNICIPAL COURT CLERKS TO EARN THE MMC DESIGNATION.

JESSICA HAD TO PARTICIPATE IN EXTENSIVE TRAINING AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS. SHE HAD TO EARN HER C MC DESIGNATION AND SHE HAD TO GAIN RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN A MUNICIPAL ORGANIZATION.

JESSICA, I'D LIKE TO CONGRATULATE YOU ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND PRESENT THIS CERTIFICATE.

JESSICA'S BOSS, OUR CITY CLERK, TERRELL BALLS IS ALSO A MASTERED MUNICIPAL CLERK.

AND SHE WILL TELL YOU A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM.

CONTRARAS OUR DEPUTY CITY CLERK TOO, SINCE 1970, THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MUNICIPAL CLERKS PROGRAM HAS HELPED ENHANCE JOB PERFORMANCE IN THE CHALLENGING AND COMPLEX ROLE OF MUNICIPAL CLERK.

AS MAYOR STATED, THE MMC DESIGNATION REQUIRES ADVANCED EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL CONTRIBUTION, AND REQUIRES HAVING YOUR CMC DESIGNATION.

IT TAKES QUITE A FEW YEARS TO GET THROUGH IT.

THERE ARE ONLY 1,388 MASTER MUNICIPAL CLERKS WORLDWIDE AND ONLY 165 IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

SO THIS IS A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT AND THE CITY IS PROUD TO HAVE JESSICA ON OUR TEAM.

CONGRATULATIONS, JESSICA, YOUR PLAQUE AND PEN ARE WAITING IN OUR OFFICE FOR YOUR RETURN AND CHERYL OF THOSE HUNDRED AND 65 IN CALIFORNIA.

HOW MANY OF THEM HAPPENED TO BE IN THE CITY OF CHINO HILLS? WE HAVE THREE AND WE HAVE ONE THAT'S ON, UM, WHO HAS HER CMC, WHO IS ON THE TRACK FOR MMC.

SO THE NEXT ITEM IS TO INTRODUCE OUR NEWEST SENIOR MAINTENANCE WORKER IN THE PUBLIC WORK STREET DIVISION, MIGUEL ROOF.

HE IS NOT ON THE LINE, BUT I KNOW YOU WANT TO SAY A FEW WORDS.

ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, I'D LIKE TO WELCOME MIGUEL ROOF TO A CITY OF CHINO HILLS PUBLIC WORKS TEAM.

MIGUEL IS OUR NEWEST SENIOR MAINTENANCE WORKER IN THE STREET DIVISION.

MIGUEL COMES TO US FROM THE CITY OF WEST COVINA WHERE HE WORKED FOR 19 YEARS DURING HIS FREE TIME, MIGUEL ENJOYS WATCHING AND PLAYING SPORTS WITH HIS WIFE AND THREE DAUGHTERS.

CONGRATULATIONS, MIGUEL, AND WELCOME TO THE TEAM.

[6. PROCLAMATION - Proclaiming October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month]

NUMBER SIX.

NEXT IS A PROCLAMATION.

PROCLAIMING OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH TO BE ACCEPTED BY COUNCIL MEMBER MORAN.

ALL RIGHT, EVERY OCTOBER AMERICAN STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH THOSE WHO ARE BATTLING BREAST CANCER.

AND THOSE AT RISK OF BREAST CANCER, BREAST CANCER TOUCHES THE LIVES OF AMERICANS FROM EVERY BACKGROUND AND IN EVERY COMMUNITY ACROSS OUR NATION.

THIS YEAR MORE THAN 266,120 WOMEN.

AND 2,550 MEN WILL BE DIAGNOSED WITH BREAST CANCER.

THIS MONTH.

WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO RECOGNIZE THOSE WHO ARE BATTLING BREAST CANCER, AS WELL AS THE ONGOING EFFORTS OF DEDICATED ADVOCATES, RESEARCHERS, AND HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS WHO STRIVE EACH DAY TO DEFEAT THIS TERRIBLE DISEASE.

TO ACCEPT THIS PROCLAMATION IS COUNCIL MEMBERS SENT THE MORAN.

AND, UM, WE'RE NOT INTO OCTOBER YET, BUT I KNOW OCTOBER, THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS, PRESENTATIONS.

THAT'S WHY WE'RE DOING IT EARLY.

SO YOU'LL GET MY REMINDER THAT WE'RE ALL GONNA WEAR PINK BOYS.

SO I'LL REALLY BE PUSHING OUT THE MONTH OF OCTOBER IN SHARING RESOURCES OF WHERE YOU GUYS CAN GET YOUR MAMMOGRAMS WORTH MEN AND WOMEN.

OF COURSE TECHNOLOGY'S NOW IS A LOT BETTER.

SO THE SURVIVAL RATE IS MUCH BETTER, BUT, UH, WE WILL BE PROUDLY WEARING PINK, UH, THE NEXT COUPLE OF MEETINGS AND I SEE THAT OUR, UH, CAPTAIN IS ALREADY WEARING HIS PINK TIE TONIGHT.

[7. PROCLAMATION - Proclaiming October as National Crime Prevention Month]

THIS IS A PROCLAMATION FOR CLAIMING OCTOBER AS NATIONAL CRIME PREVENTION MONTH TO BE ACCEPTED BY CAPTAIN WALKER.

ALL RIGHT.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CHINO HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT, THE CITY CONTINUOUSLY ADVOCATES FOR CRIME PREVENTION EFFORTS IN OUR COMMUNITY AMONG ALL AGES THROUGH THESE EFFORTS, CHINO HILLS IS, AND HAS BEEN ONE OF THE SAFEST CITIES IN CALIFORNIA AND IN THE NATION DUE TO THE STRONG PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE RESIDENTS AND OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT, OUR COMMUNITY BENEFITS MOST WHEN OUR RESIDENTS AND OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARE PROACTIVE AND WORKING TOGETHER TO PREVENT CRIME, CRIME, PRES PREVENTION PROGRAMS LIKE OUR COMMUNITY SAFE MEETINGS AND ANNUAL NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENT.

AND THEN NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM ARE EFFECTIVE BECAUSE THEY ENCOURAGE PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN LAW ENFORCEMENT, OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, CIVIC GROUPS, SCHOOLS, FAITH, COMMUNITIES, BUSINESSES, AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO HAVING EVENTS AGAIN, POST COVID-19.

SO EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES LIKE THIS, OUR RESIDENTS ARE GIVEN A CHANCE TO LEARN THE STEPS THEY CAN TAKE TO REDUCE THE CHANCES OF BECOMING A VICTIM TO ACCEPT THIS PROCLAMATION IS OUR LEADER OF OUR CHINO HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT, CAPTAIN JOHN WALKER, CAPTAIN WALKER.

UM, WE'RE PROUD OF THE CITY OF CHINO HILLS HAVE RANKED THE 20TH SAFETY SAFEST CITY OUT OF 231 CITIES IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

BUT WE WANT TO MAKE THE CITY EVEN THAT MUCH SAFER WHEN IT COMES TO COMBATING CRIME, LAW ENFORCEMENT CANNOT DO THE JOB ALONE.

WE MUST WORK TOGETHER WITH OUR RESIDENTS TO REMAIN VIGILANT AGAINST CRIME BY REPORTING SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.

CHINO HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN COLLABORATING, COLLABORATING WITH RESIDENTS, BUSINESS OWNERS AND VISITORS AND PROMOTING AWARENESS OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AND PREVENTION STRATEGIES.

THIS HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED BY HOSTING SEVERAL INTERACTIVE QUALITY OF LIFE WORKSHOPS.

COLLABORATING WITH OUR MEMBERS HAVE A ROBUST NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM, 576 MEMBERS SINCE INCEPTION AND THROUGH PERSONAL CONTEXT BETWEEN OUR DEDICATED DEPUTIES AND RESIDENTS FOR COVID-19 HAS RESTRICTED OUR ABILITY TO HAVE GATHERINGS.

WE HAVE ADAPTED BY FOCUSING OUR EFFORTS TO COMMUNICATE AND PROMOTE CRIME PREVENTION AWARENESS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA AND THE DAILY INTERACTIONS WITH RESIDENTS AND OUR DEPUTIES AND RECOGNITION OF THIS YEAR.

AS A NATIONAL CRIME PREVENTION MONTH, WE WILL BE CONDUCTING A FOUR WEEK CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHTING IDENTITY THEFT, SAFETY, FIREARM STORAGE, STOP BULLYING, SOCIAL MEDIA AND CRIME PREVENTION.
